He joined the NSDAP in 1930. In August 1933 he was first appointed senior public prosecutor in Landsberg (Warthe) and later in the same month he was appointed mayor of Neumünster.
In November 1933 he became district leader of the NSDAP, later Gauamtsleiter for the area of local politics in Gau Schleswig-Holstein.
The certificate is folded in the middle.
