After the war, Gustav Hüfing was accused of personally shooting 66 people, ordering the shooting of 2 people, carrying out the order to shoot 478 people, participating in the shooting of 5804 people, looting and pillaging, etc.

 

He was indicted in Yugoslavia after the end of the war.

 

As he had partially confessed to the crimes, he received the death penalty, which was later commuted to a 20-year prison sentence.
