Interesting Award Certificate to the General Assault Badge.
Issued on 5.11.1941.
In this document, the first name of the soldier was subsequently changed, because this was wrong.
On the reverse, this was once again officially certified by the company commander.
Ink signature of General FRIEDRICH-WILHELM VON CHAPPUIS (Knight's Cross 15.8.1940, Knight of the Knights of St. John).
Replaced on 24 April 1942 and transferred to the Führerreserve.
He felt that his replacement was a grave offense that he could not escape, so that on August 27, 1942, he committed suicide at the age of 55.
The certificate is folded and somewhat stained.
Rare signature!
