Group of certificates of the field gendarmerie, also known as "Kettenhunde".
 
The certificate for the War Merit Cross has the ink signature of the later Field Marshal MAXIMILIAN FREIHERR VON WEICHS (Knight's Cross 29 June 1940, Oak Leaves 5 February 1945).
 
There were only 28 field marshals during the Second World War.
 
The certificates are folded and perforated.
 
The swastikas were removed from the stamps.
