Ink signature of Major General ULRICH GRAUERT (Knight's Cross 29.05.1940, pilots and observer badge in gold with brilliants).
On May 15, 1941 Grauert was with his Junkers Ju 52 on an inspection flight along the Channel coast, as the machine of pilots of the no. 303 (Polish) Fighter Squadron of the RAF was discovered and shot down. Grauert was killed. He is buried at the German Military Cemetery in Nampcel, France.
