The plate was presented to the director DR. ROBERT STRAUSS, member of the Lufthansa Executive Board.
 
He joined the Luftwaffe on 1 April 1935 and was promoted to General der Flieger on 1 March 1944.
 
In 1950, he was a member of the Himmerode Group of Experts, which developed the basis for the rearmament of the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
Among other things, 6 signatures were engraved on the plate.
 
One is from the aviation pioneer FREIHERR CARL AUGUST VON GABLENZ (later Major General of the Luftwaffe).
