Pen Signature of Justice Minister JULIUS VON LAUTZ.
After the referendum on October 23, 1955, he became a member of the third state parliament of Saarland. In 1957, Egon Reinert appointed him to the cabinet as Minister of the Interior. He served as Minister of the Interior until January 21, 1959. In 1959 he became President of the Saarland State Parliament, and in 1961 he became Minister of Justice.
On April 12, 1967, Julius von Lautz was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit with a star and shoulder ribbon.
