Issued on 30.4.1944. Ink signature of General of the Infantry Ernst Ulrich Hans von Leyser (Knight's Cross 18.9.1941, German Cross in Gold 14.4.1943). He was then tried in the Southeast Trial before the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was convicted, inter alia, because of the abduction of Croats for forced labor in Germany, the passing of the commissary order and because of illegal international executions. Early in 1951, he was released from custody prematurely.
