Decorative award certificate dated 16.5.1918. Ink signature by the General of the infantry SIGISMUND VON FÖRSTER. He was commander of the Second Battalion of the 2nd East Asian Infantry Regiment and took part in the fighting in China and was awarded the Order Pour le Mérite for the storming of the "Boxer Fortress" Tse King Kuan on 28 May 1901. In 1914 the Emperor William II awarded him the Star of the Red Eagle Order 2nd class with oak leaves. The document is folded.
